I am a truly renaissance man. Traveled, studied, DIY, passionate. I am a professor at University of Baltimore, MD. Before that I taught for 1 year at Oakland University, MI; one summer at Princeton University, NJ; one year at Suffolk University, Boston; one semester at Northeastern University, Boston, one semester at SUNY Brockport, NY. I live in the US since December 17, 2006. Before that I lived 2 years in France, where I worked at the best French universities, and 9 years in Italy. I did my PhD in the University of Pisa. Pisa is best famous for its Leaning Tower. Throughout my studies and work I happened to travel to 17 countries plus some 10 US states (in 3 years). I have lived in some 5 countries and speak 5 languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, Albanian. More to come. In the past I spoke Russian, which I studied in school for 10 years, but no longer speak it. I do research in Cryptography. You heard about it? The science of secret writing. Plenty of spy story goes with it :-) I do some volunteering teaching Math for SAT exams at YMCA Chinatown, Boston. Well, there's much more about me than travel, but this is it to begin with.
