NYC guy looking for an independent, honest and funny gal.

I like to consider myself witty, but that's what everyone seems to think about themselves. So, I'll stick optimistically intelligent (my mom says I'm smart, and she would never lie to me). I like to travel, I can be spontaneous at times, and very laid back other times. I love a good joke. I think laughter is the cure to many of our problems. I'm very affectionate and honest. I believe communication and compatibility play the most important roles for a long term relationship. And, i believe intimacy is the foundation of communication and compatibility. I'm looking for someone who likes to be happy. Someone with ambition and drive. Someone independent. Someone who likes surprises. Someone who would go away to a beach resort get-away with just an hour's notice, and only one bag. While I would like for you to be a giving person, I only expect 1/2 in return. (I'm a very giving person. Sometimes, too giving. It's one of my many flaws.) Looks matter, but you don't have to be the next Megan Fox. Most importantly, above all else, you have to be honest, genuine, and respectful. I believe the perfect formula for a long term relationship is to grow as friends, explore each other, slowly learn everything about each other, and become each others' best friends. Whatever happens after that point doesn't matter because your foundation has already been built. Let marriage be the byproduct of your happiness, not the other way around.
